occasional swelling

yesterday me and my buddy did a ml of tren/prop combo in our triceps, mine was fine but his swelled up like a golf ball, it was not painfull and is reducing today.
today in the other tricep mine is swelling up loads. is this just because maybe i was slightly off with the jab or something else?
