numbness in hands/fingers

Anybody ever have this problem on cycle? My fingers are always falling asleep. It usually happens in the morning. I think maybe my arms fall asleep under me when I sleep now because I have gained so much. I am up 28lbs this cycle and my body is having difficulty adapting to my new weight. Can't jog to save my life, without getting shin splints now!

I get the same thing...when I sleep on my stomach and have my arms under the pillow they get numb along with the pinky and ring fingers. When I move em they get thier feeling back. It could be the added weight (Muscle) is pinching on a nerve in your shoulders or upper back that causes this. I goes away when I am off cycle or at least gets less severe.

Thanks Crimson,
Glad to see I'm not alone :D
I'll still get some blood work done, but it is annoying as can be!

I get it sometimes when I sleep also (same as Crimson). I don't think that I am anywhere near his size (I read the other day he benches 550 I think). I get it even off cycle though. I think it might just be the way I sleep. I only weigh 215 (@ 6'0" 12%bf), and that is a pretty normal weight for me, so I don't think its from added weight, but who knows?

Maybe I should get my blood work done too.

Its not always just from the gear, its could also be the micro strains that you put on the hands everytime you train. I have permanent numbness in finger tips on both my hands. It greatly improves when i have an extended period of time away from training. Worse while on but I get it while off just the same. Glove help but not a solution. Just something that come with the program.

Had the same problem last summer cycle and basically it is your body holding water and putting pressure on the nerves and if you start also getting sharp pains in the arms of forearms then the pressure is also pushing on tendons.
I find this happens when on a heavy cycle like A-bombs, sust, winny, d-bol and another test. Not all together though.

Happens to me whenever i'm on. Whatever body part I lie on it will feel numb in the morning.

Get your BP checked.

Yup..

28lbs, damn, I bet your BP is through the roof.

Been down this road once.

Just a few things to think about..

1) anti-e's to help drop the bloat.
2) Clean up the diet and sodium.
3) cardio
4) OTC diuretics to help dump the water.

Good luck

happens to me too, my arms fall asleep quick even if leaning on them on the couch for a few minutes sometimes

make sure it is a potassium sparing diuretis like diazide...most likely what is happening as far as your numbness is that you are holding enough water to put pressure on your ulnar nerve aka funny bone, which runs through your bicep and into your shoulder and eventually into your neck, if you can sleep on your back this will help alot

This shit happens to me too, whenever there is ANY perssure on my elbows, or whenever I sleep, or my elbows are bent weird. Starts with my pinky and moves over my whole hand. Scared shit out of me the first time it happened when I was asleep. Thought I'd slept on my hand and broke it or something :)

I guess it did only start happening after I started training real hard... I thought maybe it was carpal tunnel?

Actually taking femara EOD and Nolva EOD.
Go figure. Not too much bloat, just solid. Went from 170 to 198. I'll see what happens after next wk (wk 8) I am going to runny winny and start a cutting diet.
