numbness in hands and forearms

anyone experience a slight numbness or tingling in hands or forearms. i am not talking about the tingling u get from a heart attack! just slight tingling in forearms and hands and a bit of numbing.

I have experienced this before. What are you taking? It happens to me when taking GH especially, also happens when lifting. Usually it is a rush of blood to my forearms, and they swell causing tingling in the hands and fingers. Not painful, kind of a wierd feeling. Is this what you mean?

While workingout or just when your doing your normal day to day??? I have had a sensation as if my arm was falling asleep when I was doing freeweight curls. I do a set while resting my other arm and while it rested it would start to tingle. I think I was just so pumped and pushing heavy weight that the other one couldn't breath???

I have it now-it's caused by having a rebound effect from going from low to high carbs too fast which forces water to be retained and the hands + feet swell-just take a natural diuretic for 3 days and drink alot of h20-it will fade

I got this before ..post-cycle when i was loosing my bloat and fat fast.....hands would get numb whil edriving to the poin ti did not feel my fingers.... it passed though... i think it has to do with watter. Just from my experience.

Like someone said above, a pinched nerve can cause this. I have also known people who are under large amounts of stress to have the same symptoms

I get it from fina mainly. Especially when sleeping. I figured it was cause you leave a bodypart slightly flexed or in an awkward position and it gets a pump for so long that the bodypart goes numb. Try doing 45 minutes of rather intense cardio on fina. I can't even feel my legs at the end of it. That is a fucking nightmare of a 45 minutes.

Have the same thing started last Aug...........it lead to full seperation tear of the rotator cuff, had surgery 2/28/02.
Nerve damage leading to some of the stablizing muscles to not working like they are suppose to..........the sholder timing then went out of sink........there you have it under the knife !!!

Working now with the PT trying to bring back the timing and range of motion. My ortho doc is sending me for an
egm next wed to see if we can pinpoint any damage.
I'll know more then
feel free to drop me an e-mail on thursday 4/11/02 and I'll be happy to fill ya in.

ALL YOU GUYS WITH SHOLDER problems, and just because your big as a house with your big muscle groups the rotator cuff is still a "little" muscle stabilizing that 300lb bench

DON'T LET IT GO AS FAR AS I DID.........GET IT CHECKED OUT
by a good Sports Med Doc. lots can be done before it becomes torn

Good Luck
