Nolva EOD

Nolva has a fairly long half life, so why do we take it ED rather than EOD or less if we are running it during a cycle?? I have never really thought about this up until a few days ago, and couldn't think fo a logical reason. What is the thinking behind nolva ED?

mainly if you are having gyno problems to stop it quick, by concentrating it in the system to block the estrogen effects, the half life is just that half strength of previous, every time period, gyno would be the bitch from hell to most of us if not cleared up fast, my nips get puffy when my bf% goes up as it is.better safe than sorry if your having problems

I was thinking more along the lines of when nolva is used throughought a cycle as a minor barrier to water retention and excess fat, and to help lipid profile. In this case one may not want to use dex, cas some estrogen is necessary for gains, but way want to use nolva for the above reasons (especially the lipid profile). When used for this purpose it still seems to be used ED, but the half life is a matter of days is it not?

Yeah, makes sense to me. I've found that Nolva in higher / daily doses kills my libido (due to secondary effects of it increasing SHBG).

how does nolvadex help with lipid profiles?

It is good for lipid profile because it seems to increase ones levels of HDL (good cholesterol), and this is important all the time, especially when on gear.

"Of great interest also is that Nolvadex is an estrogen agonist in the liver, capable of activating the estrogen receptor and mimicking the actions of this sex hormone in this region of the body. As such it can have a markedly positive impact on HDL (good) cholesterol valuesas, as does estrogen."

Been thinking about this too and can't find answer anywhere, what is the minimum effective dose of nolva? IE, is there a point or low dosage (say 5g ED for example) where there is just so low a concentration that it really has no effect? I was thinking about how dbol in 5 and 10gED doses is usually not effective, and tried to apply it to nolva in some way.
