Because he has a DR. before his name...lol...every one wants to listen to his "common sense" ideas.
I for one do not care for Dr. phil, however, i know a lot of women who do, and sware by him. I think they listen to him because his name is out there, well known thanks to oprah....Most of the women i know, enjoy hearing advice about men from a man. Seems more truthful that way. But that is the most i can get out of them...lol.
