Nizoral vs Avacor

I've been using Nizoral for a couple of weeks due to my desire to retain as much hair as possible while on my winny/fina cycle I began 2 weeks ago. My question? Why Nizoral (for dandruff) vs Avacor (which specifically blocks DHT topically)??? Granted....the price comparison is a no-brainer but still......(IF Nizoral actually works for anti-DHT!!!! ).....If it doesn't ...then it's a waste....right???? I guess I'm asking what is in Nizoral that blocks DHT? And is it as potent as the DHT blockers in Avacor?

Ketaconazole (in nizoral) has antiandrogenetic proporties. It's sold as a dandruff shampoo but works as an antiandrogen as well.

Avacor is some proprietary blend of DHT blocking herbs.

Why not use them both.
