I started taking Naposim for the first time last week. I'm taking 25mg a day and plan to take it for six weeks! Should I take something to deal with water retention and when I stop taking Naposim do I need to take anything else?

stupid cycle, dbol should not be used for 1st cycle. ecspecially not by itself. and you will need something post cycle.
 
okay here goes. I am assuming this is your first cycle. Dbol almost needs to be stacked with something else in order to retain your gains. I would do something like 500 mg a week of some kind of test for 8 weeks and the dbol at 20 mg a day for your first 5 weeks along with some kind of anti e. Armidex at .5 mg a day would be perfect.

It is not a stupid cycle, unless he has nothing to take afterwards, along the likes of clomid, or an antiestrogen. Of course there is better choices for a 1st cycle, but my first was a 6 week 50mg e.d. d-bol cycle, i gained 20+ lbs and kept all of it, and kept the strength with it. Just keep a good diet, eat lots of cals, train hard, especially after you get off the juice, and hopefully you can make some good keepable gains...i did (so far, has been a month since i've been off). I also understand naposim is 5mg tabs (is this correct?), i took 50mg tabs and had to break them up throughout the day.. just hope the naposims are as good as the ones I took. I took clomid for 2 weeks post cycle, I suggest you get a hold of some. Good luck with your cycle.
 
haha bro...u most definately need to stack with something. You'll blow up on dbol dont get me wrong, but a decent amount of it is gonna be water, and post-cycle your guaranteeed to lose a helluva percentange of that, the only thing saving you from losing it ALL is that your androgen receptors are still virgins. And dbol for 6 weeks is rough for a newbie.

here's what your cycle should look like:

week 1-4: dbol 20mg ED
week 1-8: test enanthate 300mg a week
and some sort of anti-e...bigp3's suggestion of .5mg a day of armidex sounds great.

since this is your first cycle, i feel obliged to also tell you that your diet and training better be in check. im assumin your bulkin since you choose a dbol only cycle. eat clean (aka real food, no processed shit with the exception of protein shakes etc.)and eat ALOT. do NOT neglect carbs as many newbie's do when bulkin, they just go crazy with the protein. no need to consume 500g of protein a day, and no carbs. Most of that 500 will end up being used for energy with no carbs. 270-300g protein should be enough figuring your of moderate size, and load up on the carbs, and try to avoid the fat but dont worry bout incidental fat. no biggie. Try to avoid too much cardio, you need all the calories you can get. When training, choose weights that you figure you'll fail somewhere between 6-8 reps, cause your mantra when bulkin is "heavy weights, low reps". Pound the fukk outta your muscles. This is just a general overview reserach up there's alot to learn. And you better be bulkin cause otherwise i wasted all this time typin up this paragraph. ;) ...have funn!

you started your 1st cycle at 172lbs, and blew up 8lbs in the 1st week - great cycle. you should have waited for something else to run with it.

as far as the dbol only cycle goes: you will hold a lot of water, that can be limited with a good anti-e, you however will not see your true gains until you stop holding all the water post-cycle.
