All I can say is WOW. I never knew anything like this existed.
I've belonged to many gyms, but always quit because I never saw enough progress. I always thought that if I could jumpstart my results, I'd stay motivated. I thought maybe I wasn't doing it right, so I bought a few books. Results were better, but not great. I thought that maybe if I lost weight, the small pooch on my stomach would go away. I got down to 160lbs. (I'm 6'-1") and it was still there, although smaller. I never thought that the guys at the gym might be using steroids. I thought if you used steroids you were going to be huge, and that's not what I wanted. I just wanted to have a nice worked out 'swimmers' body. I just chalked it up to genetics and gave up that I'd never get to a place I wanted to get to.
Now it looks like I might be able to get there afterall, but I have so many questions.
What enhancers do I use? Doseages?
Where do I get them, and are they good?
What diet should I follow?
What type of workout should I do?
Are there any lifelong effects. I thought Lyle Alzato died from steroid use?
I'm the type of person that if given a plan (enhancers, diet, workout and anything else) I'll follow it after I've researched it. I'm a doctor (not MD) and I need to research anything before I jump right in. I hate doing a bench press thinking that I'm not getting the maximum benefit from that rep. let alone set.
Can someone steer me in the right direction? I guess I could read the forum for 6 months and get a good grip on things, but I don't want to wait that long.
