Newbie Clen and T3

Hey everyone new to EF, just wanted to ask a couple questions. First I have read through all of the clen and T3 threads, but just wanted to ask if this would be a option or even a good option. I have already posted in the diet forum to insure my diet is in check, and it checked out, stats.

24 years, 6' 235 pounds 15 to 16% BF (fat I know) been lifting for 7 years, but never really cared about being ripped, was more into it for the strength gains. But times change and I would like to switch it up a little bit and drop some BF. So I ask if this would be a good idea. Please critize as much as needed and ask anything else that you may need. Thanks and appreciate anyones time that gives me advice.

If your diet is on point...then it will help tremendously...have you made yourself aware of the sides of clen and t3?

Yes, I dont know if it is all of them but my research shows
Side effects of clenbuterol include:
Headaches
Muscular tremors (especially hand shakes)
Muscular cramps
Nervousness
Insomnia
Sweating
Increased appetite
Nausea
Palpitations
Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Possible cardiac hypertrophy as clen also targets cardiac and smooth muscle fibres
Heart muscle necrosis has been demonstrated in animal studies

Clen can have some serious side effects (like sudden death) at very high dosages. Clen is very hard on your system.

T3 side effects- the main one that I have found is that if it is not ramped up properly and also tapperd down properly, you risk the chance of shutting yourself down, and then you will have to rely on medications to do this for you. If there is any other I am missing please add.

Clen elevates your temperature nicely but only works for 2 weeks, too short to get ripped.
T3 burns both fat and muscle, only recommended with high doses of steroids, so you dont lose much muscle

BB1 is correct. T3 is very catabolic so you should be using AAS when on T3. There are a lot of risks with T3 and its no magic pill, you still need to eat clean and do your share of cardio for it to work. I actually saw no better results with T3 than I did with ECA. If you choose T3 make sure you go no longer than 6 weeks and taper down longer than you ramp up. That is key to getting your own thyroid back into the game.

Thanks for the input, not in a hurry to get ripped, I want to take the proper approach with diet, and I thought by adding in the above substances that it would help aid in reaching my goals.

I agree...you want your own thyroid to start working again ASAP. I recently wrote an article explaining the fact that the HCG molecule bears a structural similarity to Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, and can be used as "thyroid-pct"

Here's the article, explaining how you can use HCG to stimulate your thyroid into producing T4/T3 again:
