Hi, just another new guy introducing himself. Just wanted to write a little about myself so you all can get to know me a little.
Age 29
5'8
165lbs
A little about my lifting history. I started lifting seriously when I was 23 and was about 130 lbs. I was tired of being called skinny my whole life. I got myself up to about 155 naturally in 2 1/2 years time and then did two small cycles and reached about 185 by the time I was 27. Yeah I know it took me forever to put the weight on, but being an ectomorph and a serious hardgainer, I was pretty happy with the results.
About 2 years ago, I had to stop lifting/dieting all together due to some pretty trying personal problems. I have since lost every damn thing I had worked so hard for. I've lost all my size, and now I've got a big ole gut for the first time in my life. I guess my metabolism decided to slow down a bit. At least it may be easier to put weight on now. Training has been the last thing on my mind until recently, my life is finally starting to get back on track and it's time to get back into shape.
Right now I'm planning my diet/training scedule and I plan on hitting the weights right after I recover from New Years.
My goals for lifting are to get well past where I was before. I'd like to hit 200 lbs, around 9% bf. I'm never planning on competing, this is purely for myself, to be proud about the way I look and feel, and just feel more secure about myself.
I plan on training naturally for a year or two, and then start hitting some mild cycles.
Well, that's it for now, thanks for reading my post, I had to get some of that out there, sort of as a first step to getting back into the lifestyle.
Have a great Christmas everyone!
