New PS2 on the way!!

You heard me right!

Come November, Sony will be releasing a new PS2. It is smaller and thinner than the current one and the US model, I believe, comes with an internal modem.

If you recall what they did with the PSOne, shrink it then phase it out, that is exactly what they're doing here. For further details either ask your local retailer or check any PS2 website.

If, like me, you need a new PS2 like yesterday then you may find that you'll be able to pick up a PS2+ dirt cheap in the coming weeks, keep your eyes open.

Nice isn't it!? Still don't know whether to get one though. Retailers I've spoken to don't think it'll affect prices of the current one.

I don't really think it matters except it'd be easier to install in a car or truck if you are into that kind of thing.

I think I would wait till the next gen consoles start coming out next year PS2 is a dinosaur already IMO.
