new Nvidia card... wow!

TomsHardware has a new review up of the new Nvidia card (isn't out on the market yet).

here is a screen shot of what it can do in a real time FPS game

that pic reminds me of the stuff I was doing for projects in college - but not realtime - would have to wait days to get it all to render out.

LOL, you know it's going to start out at least $500. No way I will do that. The specs on Geforce FX looks nifty. They managed to downsize the Mircon size from .15 to .13 and packed in more data transfer.

Hmmm....we'll have to see if ATI Radeon will be able to compete with Nividia now.

That's awesome. I wouldn't drop $500 but by the time games come out that will utilize the hardware fully it should be better value.

I still have a GeForce2 64 mb DDR that's showing it's age. The last FPS I played was Soldier of Fortune 2 and it looked like ass at a good framerate. Though maybe the game just looked shite as well as being super boring and I can't blame the card.

I was in bed last night and thought up 15 new business plans - about 13 or which need more initial capital than I have now.

but they will all work, and about 10 of them involve the net and porn - all things that haven't been done yet.

among others, yes

most of the ideas I have are just taking existing ideas and then combining them or moving them forward into areas that don't exist yet.
also, many of them are "legal" and would require interesting movement of the company, servers, staff, and money flow in order to keep things all "legit"

LOL - that was like something supernav spoke of on here a few days back.

I do have a casino idea - but again, you have to do weird things in your location and books to be legal about it.

I'm 80% sure that I'm moving this summer, and the laws in that country are different and I might be able to implement a few of my ideas - but yeah - Vegas is likely the best place to do most of them.

If I had lots of money, then I could make companies very easily that make even more money.

But right now I need that "lots of money" part - the rest is easy.

I have something now that should do okay, but the more I work on it, the more I'm seeing I have to patent it, which is going to be a bitch since I know what goes into that.
I can pay a small fee ($50) and at least tie it up in paperwork until I can at least raise the money for the rest soon.
