What’s up every one I am new here I thought you guys could help me out I was like 200 lbs last year i am 5'7 it was all fat . I lost 65 lbs this year through diet . I am now around 137 I work out 5X a week and I am in good shape but I would like to get bigger naturally . Is protein shakes with the healthy diet the way to go i would like to put on about 15 lbs of muscle

Just thought I'd say hi....Well done on your weight loss...Awesome...There are a lot of good helpful threads on the site that will help you along. If you've lost that amount off BF your knowledge of nutrition must be reasonable. Balance is the key, good quality proteins, complex carbs and 'good' fats. Read up on post workout shakes which combine protein and sugars to spike your natural insulin levels after your workouts to drive the protein into the muscles.

You've done a lot of hard work and it is behind you. Excellent.

Now ... it is time to go forward and put on some muscle. I'd like to see you at 150 gained over 12-18 months so it is not fat.

I have no clue as to your experience and knowledge level. So I'd like to suggest you invest in some type of training book for natural bodybuilders.

I'm not selling anyone or anything, but my personal fav is John Hansen's Natural Bodybuilding. It contains diets, routines and exercise descriptions. Google his name if you are interested.

With this info, you can set some goals and make a plan to get there.
