New gaming system

Well my XBox 360 crapped out and since I don't have my warranty it's going to cost me $149 to get it fixed. Not worth it IMO.

So I'm looking now at the Wii or PS3. I had a PS2 and loved it for years, but it costs almost twice as much as the Wii and doesn't have free online play. The Wii would also possibly be something my girl would play with when we move in together.

However, obviously the PS3 has much better games, comes with Blu-Ray and can play regular DVD's as well, which the Wii can't.

Anyone have either system that wants to chime in? I'm still on the fence getting my 360 fixed because apparently if you raise a stink with Microsoft they will fix it for free.

I have all 3... started out not using my PS3 much, but now with all the new stuff out for it I haven't turned my 360 on in months. I'm afraid to turn it on anyway, its probably broke. I'd just rather not know.

PS3 is a lot more versatile (blueray and shit), and when your in the middle of really intense gaming, you use the same electricity as 3 modern day refridgerators!!! LOL

wii games are gay....ps3 has potential..i have one now that collects dust for the last year but im holding out 1 day they may have good games

PS3, so much more versitile and the Wii games are annoying, to much kid shit not enough hard core gaming action
