new fina problem

Keep it beefy

New member
alright, so i reheated it after i put the oil in, then tried to filter, nothign happened. so i took the syringe off, and put one on with just air in it, and i couldn't even push air through the filter. so i think i got a faulty filter. so i emailed the people who i purchased it from to ask for a new one and am awaiting response. so here's the question: if they say no, can i just skip the filtering process? i appear to have 2 very distinct layers, one with the glues and fillers, and one with just the tren and oil. is filtering that really that necessary?

All the ingredients are designed to be implanted into a cow so they likely wont kill ya.....but then again the cow is killed and eaten and the farmer usually doesnt care much about a cow's discomfort. Having said that I am with nimrod and I for one would not use a product that has not been filtered. Sometimes the filters can be tricky and I have had to remove and place back on barrel and make sure they were good and tight to get anything through them. If you plan on doing future fina cycles I would recommend to always have a spare filter laying around, they are only a couple bucks and can save you a lot of waiting around and such.

like Zyg said, it probably won't kill you. if you're in bind for time, try a coffee filter. that's would i did with my homebrew and it was FINE. i should have taken a pic and posted it. damn it was pretty.

Take a look at the non-filtered sludge u have right now, then look at Mr. H's final product. Which would u rather inject?????

ok, so i'll filter...do you think a coffee filter will work, or just the ultra fine syringe filters? if not, where can i pick up a syringe filter without having to buy an entire kit? if you want you can email me: [email protected] thanks for the advice so far though. keeps me from killing myself:)

def. sterile filter

yes, sterile filter. your solution thus far is kool. stash it away until you can get some more sterile filters. it is all ways good to have several on hand just in case. they are cheap.

ok, so i emailed the people who i got the kit from, and they told me to send the filter back to get it replaced. then they said that the filters are really sensitive to particulate, and that if the prefiltering step is skipped, then they clog. however, Mr. H said that you don't need to prefilter as long as you abide by the one hour rule. i'm seeing some discrepancies, can someone clarify for me.

yes, they are extrememly easy to clog, and when clogged are useless. If suppose you drew up some of the glues which you weren't supposed to till the very end, and you pushed the glue through on the first pass of anything through the filter, its useless. And yes, you must filter it, no way would i ever shoot that stuff without filtering. Those filters filter way more than a coffee filter will.
