nervous about placing a mail order.

New member
I'm pretty sure the source is a good one and thats not my problem. I'm just worried about all the stories I've read about people getting busted through mail orders.

I'm worried that if Customs gets the box they'll have my name and address and be worried that they may come after me. My order is only for a personal amount and I'm wondering if me living in a city of a population of over 1 million people if they would waste their time.

I all also live in an apartment complex in a nice neighborhood and if packages come they leave then by the door so its not like they can really set up survelience outside my house when I pick up the package and I work all day so the package will be there when I get home and not like me recieving the package as soon as it arrives. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Need some feedback here guys

Franklin Roosevelt:

"The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself". Being able to replace that fear, whether by educating yourself through EF's discussion boards or Rick Collins' book, will give you the knowledge to overcome your fear of placing mail order so that you may make your purchase with confidence.

I highly recomend Ricks book but if anything, that will scare someone more. SOme of the cases Rick covers are simply insane and to think a seemingly simple AAS purchase of enough gear can land you in jail for most of your life should scare you.

Yeah... there are some real horror stories in there... more importantly, it is better to KNOW what you are getting into, and what the laws are PRIOR to getting into it....

Know what I mean?

I agree, although I have never had an order seized, or had any problems, after reading legal muscle, I place every order with hesitation, but at least I know how to act, and what to say if something does happen. The book is a must read for everybody in the iron game.

If I got a note on my door telling me to pick it up at the post office forget it I would just take the loss, its not worth it for me.
