Needle Disposal

How do you guys dispose of your needles? It seems like an easy question to find an answer to, but I haven't seen anything on it.

There are a few threads about this. most people seem to put them in an old protein container and seal the top before they toss it.

I just swallow mine.

Yeah...that used to happen to me. Now I just chew them up and spit them at people.

The city i live in has a needle exchange clinic, so i just bring in my old pins and get the same amount of pins back for only 5cents each! Normally a box of 100 BD pins costs around 30 bucks, so this clinic is a lifesaver!!

If your city doesn't offer this service, put the caps back on them, wrap them in a plastic bag or two, and dispose in a public trashcan. Same with all your other supplies.

I don't want anybody to accidentally stick themselves, so I take a pair of heavy-duty scissors (wire cutters would work too), and cut the needles into pieces before throwing them away. I cut up the barrel too. Only takes a second.
