Need to learn to kick ass

well, my x's bf came after me today, 2x, the first time i held him back and the second i was in my car so i just locked him out, im starting my cycle soon, so i will be packing on some more muscle but i need to learn to fight, anyone have any suggestions? ive never been abig fighter, im 19, fairly built already, any help id appreciate, thx guys, im gonna kick the shit out of this guy one of these days
 
Like body building there is no way to quickly learn to kick ass. For that matter you never know if the guy your fighting is more skilled than you no matter what your fighting skill level. I've surprised the Hell out of a lot of people and kicked their asses, then on the other hand i've been the surprised one once or twice myself. There are many fighting styles you need to know something about them all. Learning to throw a good punch probably would be a good start. Boxing training wouldn't hurt.
 
yea, his dad was a semi pro boxer, so he knows how to box quite well im told, and hes like 2" taller then me so hes got a little further reach on me, and hes quick, im quick too though

how big/strong is he compared to you?

of corse size and power does not mean everything in a fight. I used to spare with friends all the time, these are a few things that helped me.

1) constantly move your fists back and forth, up and down, and rapidly knock their hands around without tring to hit them directly. Done correctly this will look really damn weird but also very confusing. It usaly does not take long to get them to leave somthing open making it possible for you to land a hard punch.

2) Many people will be overly cautious and hesitate to attack. DON'T DO THIS, if he notices you hesitateing he will think your scared and he will become more confident. To prevent this constantly move towords them and somtimes jump to the side to confuse and dodge. This will often knock people off balence.

3) Aggression is the most important thing by far. I found that the less i cared about getting hurt the less i got hit, and the more i was able to knock them around.

4) My favorit trick to pull in a fight is to palm strick them in the forhead. This won't hurt them but it will knock them off balence for a second, leaving them open for a firm blow to the jaw. Also, people NEVER expect to get hit in the forhead, it is almost certain that you will hit if your not too slow.

5) When i fight only about 1 in 6 punches are thrown with the intent of hurting them, the rest are to confuse and take them off balence. When tring to cofuse them don't try to hit hard just think about moving your fists fast.

6) Once you have lowered their guard don't hesitate to hit them like your life depends on it. To get some extra force behind your punches think about throwing your shoulder into it at the exact same time that you through your tricep into it.

These things help me hope they work for you.
 
Grow balls. Go to boxing gym and learn to box.

Get on the offensive. If it comes down to it , just go fuken crazy and you fuck the fuken fucker. M
 
If it was so easy to learn to fight then everybody owuld be a badass........use the law against him; that is what it is there for.

prooving you're jealous of the guy doesn't really do anything to help you get over the girl!

I also love how because he's gonna cycle, he thinks he's gonna be able to kick all sorts of ass.... dude if you can't fight now, juice won't help you. Just forget it and move on, maybe even attempt to find another girl
 
If you are smart before you two meet up for the fight call the cops and tell them a man is trying to kill a guy! When the fight starts up let him beet the shit out of you! Make it look good! Cops come arrest him for attempted Murder/Assult and Battery etc! You goes to jail and then you can sue him for damages etc! I'm all for kicking ass but I'd rather send a guy to prison to enjoy getting prison rapped rather than just kicking his ass!

If someone kicks another party repeatedly in the head the prosecution can argue attempted murder but don’t count on it. Assault 3 would be more likely with a plea down to a lesser charge.

Civil charges more or less would be BS nickel and dime stuff. Since it is so common the courts usually throw these things to the side.

#1 - Avoid him - period. I know he's comming after you, but do what you can to avoid him.

#2 - Notify local police about the situation AND documnet your notification. Get names of who you talked to, the date, and what was said.

#3 - Take up baseball. Keep your ballbat, ball, and glove handy in your car. You never know when the opportunity for a game will present itself.

I started studying martial arts when I was barely a teen because I never wanted to live in fear. It (and lifting) was the smartest move I ever made.

I've rarely had to use fighting skills in my life (and those fights never last longer than 2 seconds) but it is incredible how much collateral benefit comes from training to fight.

We talk regularly about strenght training. Not much is said about agility training.

Speed, reflexes, the ability to land a blow on a moving target... these things all come from practicing a skill. They make you a better person.

I get so sick of dumbasses that think that just cause you can bench 400 lbs, that makes you a badass.

There's a WORLD of difference between being strong and being a trained fighter.

Bro, don't go and fight the dude. You sound pretty laid back, which is cool, and I hate to see nice guys get pounded because they don't get it.

If you insist on it, have a few of your good friends wrap their fists with towels and throw punches at you while you try and take them down to the ground. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HIT THEM. When you can move in, double leg, and mount without catching too many blows, you're ready to inflict some pain.

Now, same drill. Start ON YOUR KNEES, blind-folded...yes, this is about survival :)

dont fight his fight, if hes a boxer, dont box him, take him to the ground. try to avoid it if you can. just avoid him. if you have no choice do what you have to do.
 
Why would you bother with martial arts and all that stuff ? Get either a a gun and/or pepper spray/stun gun. That should be enough to take down any ninja around....

i really have no choice, i always got along with the guy before I started seeing this girl, seeing him last night was the first time i have seen him in over 3 months, never said a word to him, he just hates me because Im with her and he almost was throwing punches last night. you dont understand that being rational is not somthing he does, he doesnt communicate, he just screams and yells, hes a drama queen, i bought a switchblade, so if worst comes to worst Ill at least be ready somewhat. Trust me, im a verry level headed kinda guy, i would love to sit and talk this out, but the guy is a pot head/drunk and he can fight, I have no choice but to prepare my self for WHEN it happens, prevention is far past an option.
 
A roll of quarters would probably be better to carry. Stabbing someone will get you into a lot of trouble, and as they say don't pull it out if your not going to use it. It would be bad to end up being stabbed by your own knife. The quarters would help you hit harder with your punches and is legal. Of coarse if you can't land a punch your fucked any ways. From the sounds of this I would go the police route and stay the Hell away from this guy.:argue:
 
in my opinion nothing beats learning to strike and put them into submissions,one martial art wont help you be a good fighter at anything but that. I have found the best combo for me to be kung fu and boxing,and I havent thrown a punch in years,all take downs and quick open hand strikes to the sides of the neck

The next day your hands feel like hell. Everything hurts and that’s only taking into account the punches you threw.

Now throw the shots the other guy landed and you hurt for a week or two and that’s even if YOU won!!!

That's what constant training is for, isn't it ? Can't fight, then start learning.

If you don't know how to fight - you don't know yourself. Thus, you don't know what you are capable of, what kind ofa man are you if you can't fight ? You may have avoided a fight this time but you know well that there will be another dumbfuck who'll try to jump you one of these days. Leat thing you can do is always be prepared for it.
