Need some introduction Dieting to Bodybuilding

Saint of Iron

New member
Ok, so do to nagging injuries over the years, i decided to quit football. As a result, I want to take up the bodybuilding lifestyle (minus the sauce). Number 1 priority, start with a diet plan. According to my age, height, weight, exercise, i roughly burn 3300cals a day.

Stats
20ish years old
6.1
194lbs
13% bf

Short Term Goals

Achieve 9-10bf%
187-195lbs

Long Term
Achieve 7-9%bf
200-205lbs

Question: Should I stick to a LBM diet consuming 2630cals (55p/25c/20f) or bulk up and switch to a cutter? What are some good diets to consider (South-Beach, Peanut butter, Atkins...HA)?

All input appreciated!

alright your macros should look like this
Protein= 291-349g
Carbs= 388-582g
Fats=38.8-58.2g

I would stick to the lower side on the carbs.

A good way to spread out carbs is:
25% Breakfast
20% Pre Workout(complex carb)
25% Post Workout(simple sugar)
30% For the rest of the day

The easiest is to follow the second stage of the South Beach, then the final stage.
All you are doing is eliminating sugars and upping proteins and veggies. Just the shift is enough to cause the body to drop fat and water.
You can eat all you want because proteins and veggies fill you up. Eat about 6 times a day.
