Need some help finding info on Alaska

Things I know about Alaska:
1) it is in the top left of the country
2) it's really big
3) it gets cold
4) very few people live there, and the ones that do are a hearty lot.
5) the book Into the Wild is about hiking gone wrong up there.
6) you can make a lot of money working at the fishing places up there. it is hard work, dangerous and cold, but you can make a lot of money.
