Need Some Car Help

[Wrangler]

Every time i try to start my car instead of firing up it'll make a click sound and nothing will happen. Im thinking its either the starter or ignition. I have to keep turning the key back and fourth about 10 times and then it finally starts. Any idea of what this could be?

Sounds like the starter.

yes could be the starter...most of the time its the bendix spring that is bad and gets stuck...if your in a jam, you can tap on the starter to release the spring...this could also be bad battery connection or corroded cables or terminals.....

Alright cool, as long its not the ignition. I dont want to have to replace that.

pretty sure its the starter, should run about $100 to replace/install...No more than $200 if so, way too much.

I don't know much about cars but my starter went on me a couple of times. It sounds just like the problems I was having. I would get it taken care of ASAP. Eventually it will not start anymore.

Yep, that definitely sounds like it's the tires. Light them on fire immediately.

Mine's got the same problem right now. Either the starter or the neutral safety switch. More than likely, it's the starter.
