I am doing this thing for some money, and need to know how to get a regular video to a DVD. I mean I have to video myself lifting weights and transfer it to a DVD.

How does a person transfer a VHS to a DVD?

Don't they make a combo vhs/dvd recorder player. If not you might be able to hook your cam corder right to a dvd recorder and copy.

I am in charge of making a weight lifting video. They need it on a DVD and I only have a camcorder that produces a VHS format.

buy a camcorder that records dvds at best buy or whatver and return it whenever you are done.

costco is best if they have it there, I usually have my laptops cameras and all that for like 6 months than return it(no questions asked). buy a new model
