need some advice

my girl need a eating reg........
WHAT CAN SHE EAT.....
she is at 165 lbs....
5'9

her diet is most important and no matter what I tell her she will not listen so maybe if she can read on screen the same stuff that I tell her, it might click in this time...

every 2 1/2 hours..small meals.....

but can some one give a daily meal plan....no need for a weekly.....for that I will make her do the research...but just an example will help....thx.
 
Carbs: Low GI- Oatmeal, Brownrice, Whole Wheat breads, Whole Wheat pastas, fruits- apples, oranges, berries, grapefruit, peaches, plums, no refined sugar carbs! Cut out carbs after 6pm...to ensure you will not store them as bodyfat.

Eat Protein in everymeal.

Protein: Lean red meats, chicken breast, tuna, eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese, non fat milk, turkey breast, Protein Powder, fish.

Fats: Keep saturated fats to a minimum! Try to eat healthy fats such as Flax oil, natural peanut butter, Olive oil, Omega 3's (fish oil), eat monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.

Eat alot of Veggies. Salads, brocoli, califlower, spinach, green leavy veggies, brussel sprouts.

try to limit fat intake with carbohydrate meals. This make it easier to store carbohydrates as fat.

Eat smaller meals throughout the day. Stoke the fire- don't suffocate it. Do not eat till your full.

Solid covered it pretty well. The only other thing I can think of is that based on my experiance simple carbs are addictive. They are hard to give up. I found that going to a high protein diet helped reduce the cravings for the junk. Your girlfriend knowing the foods to eat does no good if she won't eat them. People feel like they are giving up so much if they want to eat clean. They don't realize that if they give it time they will like all the good food and will lose weight without starving. Of course not much will happen without exercise.
