Need O type blood

I heard on the news, and the local blood bank confirmed, there is a nationwide shortage of O+ and O- blood...here, they're not even taking blood unless you're O type

so, if you have O type blood, make a special effort to give blood today

I just heard that the Florida blood banks are at full capacity right now --- first time every! Amazing turn out from America! However, the other comment above about just not that many rescued people who need blood is very sad .

The rescue & recovery effort can still use your dollars tho! Still lots left to do!
