Hey guys, I have been trying to find a breeder for a bull mastif puppy. I know there are people on here from all over the country. Can anybody help me out with a name or number of a reputable breeder? Thanks in advance, and karma for any help.

We only breed English Mastiffs. I personally don't like the bullmastiff's face. But I probably could find some reputable breaders for you depending on where you are. PM me if you want, or post here.

Mastiffs are wonderful dogs :)

mom's b-friend spent 1500 on a mastiff... i forget the name, its not a bull or english... anyway, the dog has displasia... the breeder said if he put him down he'd send him a new dog....

hey asshole, its a pet that is in good health otherwise.. luckily the guy has money to buy a new hip.

moral... be CERTAIN before buying.

Hey Hannibal, the puppy in the first pic is exactly what I'm looking for. If you dont mind, could you PLEASE P.M. me some more info on your dogs, like price, availability, pedigree, or anything else you think I should need to know. Many thanks bro, and some karma for ya also.

Ok...that pup is an English Mastiff not a bull..just so you know. The bulls have a bulldog face, and the English have more of the hound face. I will PM you with details. We actually should have another litter the last of January.

Oh..and just to set your mind at ease about the hips. All our females have been checked for displasia before they are bread.

before they are bread??? :bawling: doggie bread! :(

I'm sorry....before we breed them. Nothing kinky...just doggie style.

bullmastiff, note the difference

Yep...just not the right dog for me. Also Bullmastiffs tend to be smaller then English Mastiffs. Most of our adult dogs are close to 200lbs. And we have a 1.5 year old male that will be well over 200lb by the time he "grows into his paws".

Thanks Hannibal, please keep me posted. I personally want an Englishmastiff, but my wife wants a bull, so any info you can give us would be great. Thanks!

Bull mastifs are awasome. I went to my cousins acoupel weeks ago and her neighbor had one, and I wanted to take that little fella home with me so bad.

I lost my dog a year ago and I can't get a new one till I own a house.:(

If you like big dogs you might want to look into the Cane Corso as well. My friend has one and it is a good dog. These guys are just too big for me personally. One time I saw that Cane Corso take a piss and it looked like he unleashed a hose or something.

If I ever was to go outside of the Mastiff breed for another big dog it would probably be a Great Dane. I have heard the Cane Corso is a good dog however.

The only problem with Great Danes is that only live to be about 7.

Hannibal,

Do you let your dog live in the house or the yard? Or is there a huge doggie door?

Unfortunately, I don't have any of my dogs here. My mom keeps them. I need a place to keep them. They are great family dogs....very aware of their surroundings so they can stay inside. However, I refuse to leave a dog in the house alone when I'm not here. Not so much that they might destroy something...but because I feel it is unfair to the animal. We have another litter scheduled for late Jan. I plan to get a puppy or two out of that one, and find a place to keep them.

FTR...my mom keeps them outside in the yard. 6 big dogs re too many to have in the house at one time. However, whenever she lets them in they usually just follow her around and lay down at her feet. They aren't the type of dogs that want to tear stuff up...they are too lazy for that. One of our first Mastiffs was a house dog, and he spent the majority of his "inside time" just layin on the couch. Had his own hyuge pilla and everything.

Hey Hannibal, what is the life expectancy of the bull mastiff? I think this is what my wife wants to get. A 200lb dog would just be too much for her as she weighs only 100lbs soaking wet. If you know of any Bull breeders I sure would appreciate a heads up.

I can understand that. Bullmastiff's like I said do tend to be smaller. They weigh on average between 100-130lbs. And I believe the life expectancy is somewhere around 10 years.

Again, thanks bro. Any way of finding a reputable breeder somewhere in the southeast, or really anywhere for that reason. I think I would be just a little apprehensive buying a puppy sight unseen though. Whats your advice on this?
