OK my BIcepts are lagging big time
i work them the same as any other muscle group
1 day a week (i have tried 2 days/wk)
i have done few sets, i have done a lot of sets

what do you think i should do

I've been doing site injections w/ EQ and my arms are starting to blow up again.

When you are doing arms are you getting really good pumps. You might not be concentrating enough on your movements. You might also be using the same routine to often? For me my arms were lagging until I worked them 2 times a week. The first time I did 5 exercises and the second time in the week only 2 or 3. From your pic. I don't think you need any help but those are just some ideas to throw at you.:D

bi's

You may want to try a super slow motion training cycle on them for awhile..................I have been training naturally for sometime, and found that super slow motion does wonders for my bi's........works off the idea of 10 seconds for the positive half of the rep and 5 sec for the negative half.........end up using extremely lite w8s, but the pump and growth is way better then average. Two to three good sets and that is all it takes.

I agree with w8lifter89. This worked for me. Also, look up some different routines. Mixing it up ussually works. Also, what other muscles are you doing with bis? All arm workout, or chest/bis, or back/bis, etc..

try this if you like......called the 10-10-10

its only 10 sets...
for the first 5 sets do your 10 rep max
then take off 10 pounds just say before you had on 100pounds know you have on 90 and do that for the last 5 sets.....and cheat if you have to cuz you well be needing it..and after that you are done..and do the 10-10-10 with the bb curl for bis.

and for tris ez bar or straight bar ext on the decline bench and bb kickback or do them with dumbells...and do lat machine pulldowns....or do the same thing you did for tris likeon the bis called the 10-10-10..so do it with ez bar ext on the decline bench....and after that you are done yes only one workout for the tris and bis if you do 10-10-10....you well grow "ultraquick"

Well, considering your a fucking tank, it's probably just they way it was meant to be. I would guess your arms are in the ballpark of 19" correct? I would say they will grow, but not much more. Try winny injections for some nice def. in them. A gh cycle would also give you the more mature look to your muscles. Try working on the quality of them now.

Conan-

I am not nearly your size- but a few things do come to mind.
Forgive me if they are a bit basic- but my theory is always go back to the basics when faced with a dilemma such as yours.

Are you stretching the fascia effectively??
It is the membrane that encapsulates the muscle, and if is not stretched it will act as a limiting factor in muscle growth.
Imagine it as the lining of a piece of sausage, can only fit so much meet in it. This type of stretching is difficult and usually requires a partner, and is borderline painful. It must be taken slowly so you do not injure the muscle.

There are a couple books out that talk about it, but the titles do not come to mind.

don't know if winny site injections will really help long term, first days yes they get bigger but then they return to normal, nevertheless seems you have a nice pair of guns

i was afraid someone was going to say that, shit i want 21 guns

i have dried just about every training method on them
superslow, super heavy all kinds of shit
oh well thanks gents for your imput
i guess i will do winny injections, try some gh(even though i think it is overrated)
shock the hell out of them

Here's my suggestion...go lighter on bi day, never to failure, and not too many sets- leave wanting to do more. Concentrate more on developing shape on bi day than any kind of growth. The day you want to destroy your bi's for growth is BACK DAY. Go heavy, and overload the hell out of your bi's using your back to help you cheat through some forced reps your bi's can't handle alone. Try to make more of a mind-muscle connection with your bi's than with your back for awhile on back day. This works for me when I want to bulk. Good luck - AD

If you've never done site injections I'd try it for sure. I have the same problem so I know how it feels. I'm 6', but have the arms of someone 6'4". I know my arms aren't really small, but compared to my chest and back they look out of proportion. I hate my long ass gorilla arms!

Break it up.....try underhand 1 set chins take 30 second to go all the way up and then 30 seconds to go all the way down..a little bit every 5 secnds then immediatly after start the curls......shock shock shock them things

What are you currently doing for your bis? A common misconception is that more work is better work. Remember no matter how large you arms are biceps are still a small muscle group and respond well to low reps and sets. Also shrugs/deadlifts/rows help gain mass in the bis because these exercises overload the muscle by using more weight than it is possible for the bis to lift. This adds true mass to the muscle curls mainly increase intramuscular volume and not actual muscle volume.

This has been the mainstay of my arms training for many years now. I have made great gains doing this and perhaps it will work for you.

I had the same problem about a year back. I started training them once every 10 days but full out to the extreme when on. I am talking about 110% pure intensity. Resting them and allowing them to grow in this time off training them. They are a small muscle group and can be over trained very easily, especially when you add back and all other bodyparts that in some way involve them.

When I am off I train them lighter but still every 10 days.

Peace

Well my friend you seem to be in between a rock and a hard place! It seems you have tried everything, but what about stretching? I'm talking stretching to the point where you are in near pain but not injury! Stretch after every set you perform, minimum 30 seconds each bicep! Give it a try, it might work!
