Need computer wiz, to help with internet problem???

when I type a "item" to search in yahoo, and I press one letter in the search bar, a list forms in the bottom, with all the items starting with that letter. How do I delete it???

also try to go tools->Internet Options -> Clear History

If you're using IE, go to Tools/Internet Options and choose the advanced tab.

Somewhere in there there's a checkbox that will say something about autocomplete. Disable it.

Internet Options / Content / Auto Complete

turn off auto complete for forms and it won't do that anymore.
