It seems that every time someone asks for advice on how to come off a long cycle people start throwing insults, but hardly ever does anyone explain why long cycles are such a bad idea. But for several reasons I am thinking about staying on for about a year and maybe much longer. Now, I am still in my 20s, and I don't plan to stay on for the rest of my life, and I am worried about what will happen when I go off after a long cycle--will I ever recover, or am I going to be screwed permanately?
There are two things that stand in the way of recovery after a long cycle. The first is testicular atrophy. But that shouldn't be a problem if you are using a decent dose of HCG every couple of weeks. The second problem is inhibition at the pituitary. However, if I understand this correctly, the pituitary is fully inhibited after only 3-4 weeks. So if you keep your balls in good shape, why would it be harder to recover from a long cycle rather than a shorter one?
