Vanguard

New member
Hello, I am getting hitched in about 1 month and haven't found a first dance song yet. Ozzy and VanHalen don't have much. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well fellow Charlottean . . . first of congratulations, second what kind of music are you into?

I like metal too, but I dont think that will be the right one, how about U2 or George Michael, I dont really know either good luck :smash:

Forgive me but I'm not much of an expert on weddings but . . . I would imagine that it would have to be a ballad that would have personnal meaning between both you and the bride. A song that the lyrics would tell a story of how you both feel about each other (I know, mushy).

Album - Inside Job
Don Henley - On My Wedding Day

or

Album - Inside Job
Don Henley - Taking you home

Since your getting married will have jitters might I suggest "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath.

Seriously how about one of those sappy Bon Jovi songs like "Bed of Roses" or "Always"

i have a soft spot for the song i first kissed my bf to... tea in the sahara by the police... but i'm not having a dance at my wedding.

go with anything by 2 Live Crew and you won't be disappointed.

may not be your cup of tea, but i've chosen Louie Armstrong's What a Wonderful Life...

do some searches through bridal magazines if you're really stuck.. they often provide lists...

One of the only country songs I like is "How do I live?" LeeAnn Rimes. :)

Actually, I have to admit that I love Dwight Yoakum. I can't stand most country, but there is just something about his music. MMMM-MMMM!!!! ;)

How about "from this moment" by Shania Twain. it is kind of country, but what the hell.

Great choice.

But, if you can dance (ballroom style), you might consider a wedding waltz of some kind. It will entertain the guests and make Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa the proudest people on earth.
