well my one friend is big into NASCAR and he is trying to get me into it........why do so many ppl like NASCAR? i am not hating on it? but watching Formula 1 is more exciting......please explain the NASCAR issue why it is so popular?

Road Courses are more exciting and Nascar is increasing the races they do this each year vs the circle tracks...

A lot of my friends like NASCAR, but I'd rather watch paint dry.

Another thing that sucks is that I live like 15 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway, so twice a year I have to deal with a huge increase in traffic, and more people everywhere getting in my way. I hate people.

The last Race I went to in Daytona -
I was on the back stretch Pepsi 400, well the race finished under yellow caution.

The fans threw everything they could find at the cars as they went by

I was listening on the scanner - you should have heard what the drivers were saying.
