nasal spray (help)

I was using my nasal spray while ago. I went to spray my nose and lifted the bottle up a little high. Anyway when i sprayed it felt like the stuff went into my mouth and i swallowed it. But i don't believe i swallowed it. But if i did swallow, what can i do about it? Drink some cold water and gurgle maybe? It just felt like i swallowed the stuff when i sprayed it up my nasal passage. Does this happen to anyone else? Man it was really wierd! Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

hi. pharmacist. dont worry about it. next time get your pharmacist to show you the correct procedure for nasal administration using that product.

all that happened was that instead of spraying a fine mist all over your nasal cavity, the tip was too close to the nasal wall and all the little droplets coalesced into a big blob of liquid, and ran down your throat.
