how is napster? is it expensive? if you stop your account do you still have all the songs you downloaded? or do you lose them?

are there any free programs that are good now? kazaa was the last i used and since, i've heard it has a ton of spyware, etc...

Ares is good...DC++ is great if you know of a good hub.

Limewire and Ares are spyware free.


Bit torrent file sharing is pretty sweet too but more complicated.

I don't know how good Napster is now, but regardless I wouldn't pay...there are so many free file sharing programs.

As for your Ares and Limewire...what's not working? Is it just not connecting? Perhaps you're behind a firewall or something, in which case you may need to change some settings.

liimewire is causing my cpu to freeze up when installing...

and then it shuts it down.. i get the blue screen.

i put on DC++ it seems difficult to find songs but i've only been in 2 hubs...
any secrets??? any other programs without spyware? thats the key.

Well, if you want speed go with whatever progam has the most users (kazaa I think has the most but its spyware packed, but if you can get rid of them then good) if you cant try limeware
