name a palatable, cheap wine

Please. preferably one with an alcohol content of 10% or higher.

Boones farm is good, but its not technically wine (not that that matters), and its alc. content is about 4%. Im looking for oz. of ethanol per $ spent here in something that doesn't taste bad.

$4 and under for a 750 por favor.

i knew someone would say charles shaw. I can't find charles shaw, as there are no trader joe's anywhere in my area.

MD20/20 is not palatable in case anyone recommends it. That is what im trying to avoid, a wine that tastes like acid and tapwater.

bah. the thing is boones farm actually tastes good, but its alc. content is too low at about 4%. Maybe i could throw in a shot of whiskey every now and again just to maintain equilibrium.

I dont wnat to go out and buy a bunch of wines as i've tried that before, buying 15 $3-4 bottles of wine and finding they all suck. all except a couple of boones farm and this other popular brand's strawberry flavor. i can't remember the brand right now (they have the ads where the women and men are at the beach and one of hte women says 'time for XXX wine'), that kind wasnt bad either, but its popular wine, comes in a clear bottle and they have a variety of flavors, one is a strawberry type.
