Nagging Injuries!!!

Man since I've started my first cycle of deca at 400mg/week I keep running into some nagging injuries. The second week into my cycle I pinched my fat pad in my knee, which wasn't all that bad, but it kept me from doing heavy squats for three weeks. Then today while I was doing shoulders (front lat raises) I heard a loud pop in my wrist. Luckily I had to go to my sports med. doc. to make sure my knee was ok to go again and it was. Well, he told me that my writs wasn't nothing serious and I would just need to wrap it, but dam when will this stop? I have made some great gains on this cycle. I have put on 13 pounds of LBM and my strength gains are nothing short of phenonimal. I was doing 225x6 my last set of bench and last Monday I did 300x4. Man it felt great. Anyway, just had to vent a little since thses dam nagging injuries are annoying.

Oh! Man I plan on it. Wild animals couldn't stop me ffrom getting to the gym. I love hitting the gym and seeing myself grow from week to week. It was funny my Doc. even commented on how good I look.

you need to watch how fast you increase your poundages in the gym ,when your using gear you get strong fast ,real fast too fast for your tendons annd ligaments to keep up with just my 2 cents

I feel your pain... I have had these back to back:
1. knee surgery
2. knee surgery
3. broken ankle
4. broken clavicle
5. broken ankle
6. broken hand
7. sprained mcl
8. strained bicep tendon
* and I have degenerative disk disease!
I have had one injury a year since 1997. You have to just keep working out and learning your body. I don't let my body hold me prisoner anymore. I hold it prisoner!

Agreed bro... its nice to see those weights go up, but u gotta remember that your tendons and ligaments might not be ready for that extra stress. Goodluck with the rest of your cycle!

I know about the weight then and that is not the problem. LOL I actually hurt it doinga light weight front laterial raises (only 25lb. dumbbells). I know my body real well and there was no indication of this until I started the movement and then I heard a pop on my way up. Dam it. Oh well, I'll get through it.
