My yard is covered in ice

I took my dogs out to use the bathroom and my yard was white with sleet.

If it stays like this I can see a three day weekend in my future.

Yep, the sunny south. That's why if it stays like this I'm staying home. Around here, all we need is someone to say the words snow or ice and everything shuts down.

We are getting hammered here,well, an inch of snow here is like two feet in the north. We have about 3 to 4 inches of sleet, ice, and snow on the ground and it is still coming down hard. School was out today and is closed tomorrow too. My wife is a teacher so she is excited as well as the kids.

I live in Texas, and can not survive living in Canada. It is a nice place, I just like my weather better. I have 6-8 months of summer!
