There's only maltodextrine in my weight gainer is that bad ?

I AM SORRY I AM NOT A BELIEVER IN WEIGHT GAINERS. If you eat five to six times a day like you should and get the right amount of protein you can save your money. if you want a real good weight gainer try peanut butter high in protein and fat.
 
There is absolutely nothing wrong with weight gainner. It is much more convenient than a meal and helps in adding calories.

As for your question, sorry no idea -- bump
 
Nothing wrong w/ Matodextrin, but you will have a big insulin spike from it followed by the crash. This formula works great post workout, but during other times of the day I would seriously consider adding some fat and fiber to it to help deter that big spike in insulin you would get, and to help slow down the absoption of the shake.
 
MOST weight gainers are full of usless fillers! now on the other hand there are some good meal replacements out there.
 
With my experience with weight gainers, the only thing that worked for me was N Large. I think the big reason why N Large tends to be more productive for people is because it's a high protein gainer. My take on Maltodextrin is that it's a complex carb that is high glycemic, making it perfect for post workout, though it can cause too many influxes in one's blood-sugar levels, making it not necessarily the best for someone trying to get lean.
 
Maltodextrin is great for spiking insulin. Use the weight gainer for post workout nutrition. For meal replacements use straight protein powder and oatmeal. The oatmeal provides fiber, good fats and a low glycemic carb source. You can actually blend it into your shake but I prefer to cook it because it's more filling.
