With my experience with weight gainers, the only thing that worked for me was N Large. I think the big reason why N Large tends to be more productive for people is because it's a high protein gainer. My take on Maltodextrin is that it's a complex carb that is high glycemic, making it perfect for post workout, though it can cause too many influxes in one's blood-sugar levels, making it not necessarily the best for someone trying to get lean.
