My stupid girlfriend brought home a chihuahua. We have a wonderful 5 month old golden retriever what the hell would you want a chihuahua for?

the golden is our dog, more hers than mine even. my point was goldens are the most perfect dogs, they just aim to please and are happy all day. small dogs are just nasty.

thanks that does give me hope. i grew up with siberian huskies and they could just give a fuck about what you want kind of jaded me on dogs, i like having a dog that just follows me around smiling.

why dont you ask her Maybe she wants more than one dog. So the other dog can have a playmate Or maybe she's just into small dogs

So they had a pig with 3 legs and a man asked the farmer what's the deal with the 3 legged pig? The farmer replied, "we had a fire at the house and the pig ran upstairs and woke me and the wife up and each of the kids. The pig saved all of our lives."

My cat will have 2 lbs on your dog. The difference is your dog will run around like crazy while my cat will lay around & watch.
