My ribs & chest: Please Read!

I have an issue that is affecting me. My bottom ribs stick out alot and my chest is sunken in. I have Pectus Excavatum. I didnt even bother going to get it checked out because I know they will say its not severe enough for surgery and even if it was I dont have the money for that.

Basically I am pretty skinny, my chest is actually the skinniest part of my body and it affects me consciously (sp? word?). My bottom ribs however just stick out so far and it gives me a really big potbelly.

My question is, is there anything I can do about this? Any certain exercise? I thought about just trying to get slimmer (since I do have enough meat to not be considered slim), but I thought that would make the ribs more noticable. I'm asian so I have a small body structure genetically, so I highly doubt I would be able to get really big (even muscularly), even if I tried. I'll see if I can upload any pictures.
