Nice system.

You should be able to overclock that system with no problems.

I hear the Radeon 8500 cards are pretty smoking right now with the new drivers that have been released, and the price is nice a low.

I have a geforce4 ti4400 myself.

Just so you know, before you purchase a video card: Both Nvidia and Radeon are coming out with their next generation of video card by the end of the year.

muscle do not get the deskstar, they have overheating issues and unless you have some decent cooling going on, you may have one mess up on you. Try a western digital or maxtor.

as for your motherboard you may want to check this one out as well

cool, homie. i just ordered all the parts for a similar system i'm gonna put together. wodin's right about the vid card...get a radeon 8500 ($99 on newegg.com), or if you want to put out a little bit more cash for better performance, then pick up a geforce 4 (not the MX series, they blow balls). here's what i have on the way:

Crucial 512mb(two 256mb sticks) PC2100
Maxtor D740X 60GB IDE Ultra ATA133 7200rpm

I don't plan on overclocking anything but the video card, so I should be ok on cooling. Oh and use www.pricewatch.com to find good deals if you didn't already know about it.

i got the nvida geforce 4 card. and it kicks ass. the wole system is running smoothly. i am not planning to overclock it, dont have the skills.

my brother had a mishap yesterday, somehow his cooler had slipped of the prosessor, and the alarm hadnt gone off, and he toasted his prosessor and mothercard..what a bitch
