My paper.

I have to write a paper on the daily life of a serf, noble or merchant during feudal (and abit around it) times.

It's not a specific person, it just has to be a general life of one of these. Like what they do when waking up and what they do during there day.

I also have to list the time period and the place (like country/region) that I picked my discussion topic from.

Any history type people wanna help me with some sources to help write the paper. I'm sure my textbook will help but outsides sources might help also.

The paper is for a History of Western Economics class.

If anyone decides to chime in on this thread, thanks.

does this have to be on a western civilization, or be directly connected with economics? Cause i know doing a russian serf would likely be the easiest option, as they were extremely common in modern (1751+) europe.

Yeah it's a History of western economics class. Also we have to do one during the time of the end of the Roman Empire and the Breakdown of Feudalism. In a couple weeks we do another paper on someone during closer to modern times.

i hypothesize that the serf's life would look something like this:

Wake up- Dawn
Tend to livestock- milking goats, cows, etc.
Eat breakfast- things that keep a long time(salted pork or beef)
Tend to crops
Eat small lunch(similar to brerakfast, cheese, alcohol, unleavened bread)
Tend to cropssome more- until darkness sets in
Eat dinner- similar to other meals
Sleep
