Love this bike! I pay less for this bike including the gas/ins/monthly payment than to go to work every day than I did driving my Cobra!

congrads on the new bike

but the new ninjas just dont cut it in looks design for me (my 2001 zx6r look the best of all the ninjas imo)

i am in the market for a new bike but i cant come to terms on the new zx6r looks or the zx6RR looks either or...

what do u pay for insurance? are you going to get an undertail? exhaust? cams? any mods?

No mods for now, have to wait and see what I want to do if anything. I pay 45 dollars a month for insurance.

I like the look, except for the rear fender, looks dorky. Been a while since I have ridden so I am looking to sign up for a few bike courses for racing/street.

well i was thinking of getting a bike as well.
i was into the 2000 yamaha r6 or suzuki gsxr 600. idnt why but i dnt really like the luk of the ninja.. seems small. however i no doubt the performence of the bike.

I tend to like the smaller bikes and they seem much more nimble and responsive. I looked at the Suzuki's and the Honda's, but for me the Ninja looked the best.

I am picking mine up here shortly, then I am gonna go for a ride. I'll post how it goes!

I think you will be impressed.

no wheelies for now. I still have to get used to this bike and havent' rode a crotch rocket in like 20 years.

I got the blue and black one! As Cartman would say..."sweeeeeeeeeeet"

Congrats bro....i like the blue you posted here...with a little stripping down to clean it up...Very Nice!!!!...i like the rear fender...if the tail section is cleaned up some it will look awesome....Cool bro!

Thanks! Next summer is the Harley for my other side! Then add the 4 wheel drive and I will have almost all my toys. Boat is last!

the two best days of a boat owner are, the day you buy it....and the day you sell it!!!...but yeah i miss mine.

stop spankin it!

That Ninja in terms of performance is really RIGHT up there with the rest of the bunch. You have to be an expert rider to notice the difference between them. Get an undertail a slip on and a remapped computer and you will have yourself a sweet ass bike. Nice color choice too, I dont like the whole Kawasaki notion of the bright neon colors like that hideous ectoplasmic green.

Good luck!!

Smart move on the refresher courses.

Great bike, BTW...I have been looking into the ST1100, but I just can't get myself to drop the cash yet.

What am I riding now? The same bike I have had for the past 6 years. 1985 Highthawk 650SC...Fastest 650 on the planet. (In 1985)

Using a bike for commutes in the summer is awesome - my 2004 SRT only has 8,000 miles on it!

Good luck,

Bluesman

you should go riding with curling.

No doubt I could teach'em some things. First think you need to do is mount your license plate bracket way under the fender, bend it up and put some mud on it so it is almost impossible to read. Then you will be ready to be a menance to to society.
