My kidney hurts...advice needed!

Guys,

I just got back from the lake this weekend and my left kidney is killing me. I may have bruised it wrestling around, but I don't think so...or maybe I got a little dehydrated at the lake. I am on my second week of Sust and Fina, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. It feels like someone punched me right in my left kidney. My right kidney is fine, so I thought it may be something other than the stack. Has anyone had just one kidney get really sore all of the sudden from gear? What should I do besides drink lots of water?

Fina

Could be the fina bro i get kidney pain from fina. Try some cranberry extract pills and drink a ton of water 2 gal a day.

Yes it is probably the Tren. My brother got a lot of pain only in his right one from TA and it left after about a week after he drank a lot of water every day. Are you shooting Tren ED or EOD? If ED you might consider going to EOD while you drink a lot of water and recover a bit.

From what I've read kidney pain should be in the lower quadrant of your rib cage. If it's towards your lower back than it's not kidney pain.

NOT KIDNEY PAIN!!

If you have done nothing to physical harm that area, but it is hurting anyway it is most likely due to elevated liver enzymes. This will cause uni or bi-lateral pain in the lower back - an area we usually associate with the kidneys. I would go to the doctor and have your liver enzymes checked (it is a very simple blood test) you will probably find them slightly elevated. My suggestions -- Tylers liver detoxification factors I and II and the GNC supplement called LIVER. I have not purchased any of the Tylers in awhile but if you do a search you will find the URL to purchase them.

Honestly is there such thing is kidney pain literally? How does one know? Kind of like when someone says "My liver hurts".....is it possible to feel it??

Thanks for the help...the pain is in my lower back on the left side only. I did drink some alcohol this weekend and didn't intake as near as much water as I needed. It also burns when I urinate...another reason I associated the pain with my kidneys and possibly dehydration. I tried to drink as much water yesterday as I could, and it feels a little better today. Will regular cranberry juice help or should I just stick with the water?

Are you sure it is kidney pain and not lower back pain? They can be confused quite easily.

I can't say that I am 100% positive, but it sure doesn't feel like any lower back pan I've ever had. It doesn't feel like it is in the muscle or anything...it feels more internal.

I've been drinking lots of water and cranberry juice and it is feeling better. It doesn't burn when I urinate now and my urine is clear again and doesn't have a bad odor to it anymore. My kidney is a little tender, but nothing like it was last night. I think I just got dehydrated and add the stress from a cycle to that. I appreciate all of your help.

Ash, an interesting post. I have never heard this before. I dont understand however how exactly elevated liver enzymes manefests as pain in the lower back. Can you explain this please?

I am not sure why, but I am speaking from 2 years of exp. -- I have a fairly liberal doctor and he allows me to order my own blood work -- I therefore do a CBC w/ differentials about once every other month when I am on cycle (or when I feel like I need it). I have found that lower back pain or pain in the area most people consider the kidney area is always a sign of elevated liver enzymes. It has always held true for me. There is a difference between true lower back pain and the pain I am talking about, but it would be easy to mistake the two. The elevated liver enzyme pain seems to be deeper than regular back pain, but the diff. is slight and not extremely noticable without practice or exp.. I hope this answers your question, if not you can PM me for more details.

JUNIPER berry is the stuff to use. It's more effective than cranberry for kidney pain.
