A couple months ago at a family gathering he was telling us about this time when he and my grandma had a friend who 's husband was beating her and they killed him and served him to the people in their restaurant (they don't know anyone who owns a restaurant)... and which time my sister goes..

"Pawpaw...that wasn't you...that's the movie Fried Green Tomatoes"

He replies, "hahahaha I sure love me some Showtime!"

And time he was telling me about this time when he went through the time displacement device to save Sara Conner and the Terminator was chasing them with a shotgun....

Yeah you get the idea.

Hahahahahaha that's kinda funny. When my father was really sick (he was only 42 and had a serious case of cancer) he was doped up on so many meds that he went a little crazy too. I remember talking to him and he would say things to me like:

"That was an amazing article about you in Sports Illustrated, I dog eared the corner it is on if you want to check it out...page 57 I think"

or

"Don't forget to help Ma with the yardwork. Those cows aren't gonna sell at the market if they don't have good grass to eat."

It was sad at the time, but when I look back at it all...it was some of the funniest material he ever had.
