i went to the dermatolgist because i thought i had sun spots and wanted medicine.so he looked at my arms then asked if i had any on my chest or back, i said i dont know.he then said to take off my shirt so i did.then he says are you on steroids.i said no, he said you look to big to be natural, you must have some good genetics.i told him ive been training for seven years.
the funny part was my back and arms are filled with pimples from the eq and he said what am i doing about all that acne, i said nothing.he gave me an antiobiotic ad then said if that dont work he wants to be me on accutane.the thong is he acne doesnt bother me so i just told him ok and left.i got medicine for the acne and the sun spots.
i just thought it was funny

He bought your answer? I guess it really doesn't matter what he says though. I'd like to find a doc who will write me prescriptions for Arimidex and other shit I need. A doc like that'd be a keeper for sure.

I woudn't admit to it unless you are seeing the doc for something critical. That's weird that he said that even though you weren't even there about your acne.

your "docter" probably put 2 and 2 together. I wouldnt do anything if a patient said it to me. I have guys who tell me they are on cocaine and it doesnt really matter to me unless they are having health problems because of it. Sure, ill give a little lecture and tell them that they can have a heart attack before they reach 30, but thats it unless they ask for help. Of course, being on gear isnt the same as cocaine. But in most of the studies i have been reading up on lately, the doctors tested people taking AAS but couldnt supply them with the AAS they were actually testing.

The first thing I always tell to a doc is that I´m on roids....well here it isn´t illegal, and I don´t care a shit what they would think. Anyway I don´t go to docs anymore, they have never helped me on steroids related things....they realy don´t know how they work. My docs are on this Board:D .

no way i would tell him.he it would be on my chart then and screw up further treatments.i had gyno surgery covered by my insurence.i guess at 5-6 190 pounds it hard to hide.ive manged to gain wait and loss fat at the same time to the hgh.o loe this stuff:D

AMEN!

Most docs just try to rip us all off.

Never tell your doc unless it is absolutly imperative, and then specificly tell him that the information is not to go on record!

If you just tell him it will go into your records, and could very likely screw you for insurance down the road. Insurance companies, and many others have access to your medical records. The insurance companies could try to claim preexisting condition due to past history of steriod abuse.

Wouldnt that be great to deal with 20 or 30 years from now!

never had problems with my doc..... he knew from the beginning I was juicing .... just told me the same blabla about sides but I still waiting for the day he'll give me a script for some HCG or arimidex.....

I have always been honest with my doctor. I just receintly got a script for Anadrol. Out of all the stuff my doc says she will not give me any injections but she will give me a 2 month supply of Anadrol.

Nathan......Armidex is a female script there is no way a doc would prescribe it to a male.

What I think is funny (and annoying) about many docs is their severe lack of knowledge when it comes to AAS.

I've talked to sooooooo many people with asthma who think they are "growing" b/c the doc told them he was prescribing them "steroids."

I don't know why docs say that... Either they don't know the difference between corticosteroids and anabolic steroids (which is sad) or they just fail to tell them that their script is NOT an anabolic steroid...

If they do know the difference (which I doubt) then why mention it in the first place? Telling someone (especially women) they are going to be put on "steroids" without further explaination is rediculous.

But really, I think these docs don't know the difference.. They hear "steroids" and assume AAS... Pathetic.

Any doctors worth their salt do know the difference between anabolic steroids and corticosteroids. But i do agree that they are very skeptical about its use. Why would any community doctor who isnt an endocrinologist or sports medicine doc want/need to prescribe an AAS in the office? There really isnt any indication worth the trouble unless the patient is chronically ill with HIV or some other chronic sickness or with stunted growth. AAS are schedule 2, which means SOME doctors have alot to lose if the script is mishandled. They need a DEA number to put on the script, which means it can be tracked. Alot of doctors dont want to risk it. But most are skeptical and/or ignorant about their effects.

Last summer i told my doctor i had just finished a Winny cycle when he asked. He basically made fun of me and asked why the hell i did *just* Winny....

He is an ex-juice head and a great guy...
