Why did Mexico stop making HCG?

Mexican sources cant find it anywhere. What is a good price for 5000iu HCG? $25 amp?

I paid around $7.00 for 5000 iu amps of profasi in TJ in early January. When I would ask for hcg at the farmacias, many of them didn't know what I was talking about, but everybody knew what I meant when I said profasi.

I have noticed that hCG down south is harder to get now. Several of the sources I know can't get Profasi or gonadotropyl. I don't know what is going on. As far as taking the vet version by Loeffler, I don't know if animal hCG contains the same peptide sequence as human. Or if it is different, does it matter? Just like insulin when you compare beef and pork to human, they differ in peptide sequence (slightly), but still function the same in the human body. One thing to note is that since it is of animal origin, there is an increased possibility of antiginecity and hypersensitivity reactions. So, has anybody tried Loefflers hCG?

I was looking around in NL last Friday, and one place had a single 2000 IU box, 4 or 5 other places were all out. It was kinda late on Friday, and I assumed that they were just sold out...
