A typical weekday (day 1-6 in the CKD cycle) is as follows:
Meal 1: 2-4 whole eggs (depending on the day) scrambled in canola margarine to meet the fat quota
Meal 2, 3 and 4: Musashi 92% protein*, canola oil, 2-3g Splenda, about 10g pure psyillium husks (the amount of protein powder/canola oil depends on the day and the fat
rotein ratios, obviously)
Meal 5: Same as Meal 1.
*Musashi 92% protein is about 2% carbs, Splenda is about 92% carbs.... and I think eggs have about 1g carbs each, give or take.
So.... by my calculations, on the HIGHEST carb day:
Protein powder: 2.25g carbs
Splenda: 8.25g carbs
Eggs: 10g carbs
Total: 20.5g carbs
That's over-compensating a little bit. Do you think that's okay? If not, I guess I could cut out the Splenda....
