I'm procrastinating finishing this fucking school work... so here's a pic from last New Years..

its an eclipse

yea we have the same car mines the last year before the horid new ones

cept mines all blacked out even the windshield, littled riced not 2 much, rims, 800 deck,

I like it, slow as fuck compared to my old rx-7, but still great lines, good cockpit, 71 plus miles still runs great and I have raced it to death.

HI

yes, 1999 Eclipse. The last year before the body style was changed. The front and the rear lights are laid out differently then the 96-98 eclipses with the same body style.

I have 42K miles on mine. Runs great, but the belts have to be changed more then I'd like.

I have tint all around (except the windshield). Aftermarket 17" rims. Most everything else is still stock, next upgrade will be a sound system, I've worn out the stock CD player and speakers.

It's been a great car for me and will last a few more years for sure, especially considering I have a 75K mile warranty on it.

I wouldn't call it slow at all though, with 205-210 horsepower it really moves... if you think your's is slow you must have the RS.

good deal

but dude next to a twin turbo, race ready, borla full exh. iceman cold air induct, the works rotary rx-7

its sloooooooooooooow

that thing was a bike on 4 wheels

miss ya baby

well true..

my lifting philosophy is fairly similar to my philosophy on cars.... it don't matter how you perform, as long as you look good.

yes sir, mine 2 and believe me the eclipses we have are one of the best looking cars to ever be made (price range)

But the third generation rx 7 had it all looks, lines and racecar power

also I thought the same way, until three years ago with lifting I relized you need to push big weight to become a monster

now I push semi big weight
no Wodin or Bfold but
getting there

yeah hands down the Eclipse was the best value for the look..

I was looking at civics (EX) and even the fucking corrolla.. then jus said fuck it.. spend a few grand more and step into something that looks like a Supra... the only other things comprable was the mustang.

I try to lift heavy, I'm no slouch, but my goals are more cosmetic then anything.. gaining weight, filling out, that type of thing. But I do look to push my max weights and number of reps per set because I know that is the best way to make my body change.

I've also only been lifting seriously a year. In high school all my good friends lifted while I was out running.. they all broke 200lbs at 16 and 17... I just broke 200lbs a month ago at 25.. I've been natural to this point but have had to defend myself all the time over the last 6 months becuse of my gains in the gym.. up 100lbs on bench.... added 45lbs of body weight.. etc I believe I have the right mentality.
