My blood pressure, the plot thickens (good info)

I've also been taking effexor, an SSRI that also increases norepinephrine. Apparently 13% of patients taking effexor have an increase in blood pressure. I guess the effexor combined with the juice sent my BP through the roof. This is an important point for everyone to consider, make sure you know all the info about other meds you take (whether they are prescribed by your doc or not) . It's strange how I went to one Dr. about my blood pressure and they always ask what meds you take. I wonder why he didn't check to see if any of my other meds could be causing problems as well? I guess docs don't know everything. I'm switching to paxil now.

I'm still not sure if I'll ever cycle again. I'm getting older and my training goals are changing. I want to feel healthy as well as look good. I no longer want to be massive or be able to squat 1000lbs. I'm sure most of you guys will reach this point at some time too. I know a few former massive beasts that are now in their 50's that still lift but no longer juice and no longer care about being huge.

glad you're getting the bp issues resolved.

but I hate it when guys younger than me talk about "getting older", lol.

i'm glad you said what you said about doctors. this is not meant as a knock on doctors but logically, of course not every doctor knows everything. most people trust them too much. they are no different from any other profession, there are good ones and bad ones. and just as with car mechanics, they will often be wrong. not most of the time, but often.
