I would love it if my beard grew that slow!! I've been full blown shaving since I was 13! In my sophamore Track Team pic, I forgot to shave for a couple days and when the pic came out in the year book, I looked like I was in my 20's! LOL!

Word of advice.
Once you do actually get to the point where you can grow a full beard. LEARN to use a straight razor! It rocks for keeping the edges neat and tidy.
I had a full beard for 15 years, I finally shaved it all off 3 years ago and grew a goat. I always used the straight razor (hollow grind) but with the goatee, it REALLY helped more than ever.
Shorten it with a beard trimmer and attachment for length. Then clean up the edges with the straight razor.
I have a fogless mirror in the shower and it's great with the straight razor. No foam, no fuss. A hot shower then a shave...sweet.
I used one of those with the replaceable blades but I chucked it after a few years in favour of the hollow grind one. I sharpen it on a japanese water stone.
A lost art I must say as well.
If you want to know how go find an old barber (you know the kind that still have a barber pole outside, and mostly cut old men's hair). Go in and ask him nicely "How do I use this thing?". Likely he won't stop talking. I did that when I first grew a beard and the guy showed me everything I needed to know about using it, and keeping it. Great guy. I gave him 20 bucks for his time. Havent bought a blade since.

actually, a little bit longer than a CM, but not by much. perhaps 1/2 inch. there is some variance between areas. and it's thick.
are you white boys saying that you would have more than this much in ~ 3 weeks, starting from clean-shaven? for the vast majority of you, i doubt it.
but it doesn't matter...it's nothing to be happy or proud about. i wish i didn't have to shave at all.
as for the thread...not a single funny post in the lot (farouk factor brings everything down to his level), with an honorable mention to njjuice for pulling out the temple of doom shit.
the rest is just some of the old stereotypes, nothing interesting.
