mutant genes....

I have decided that I am some kind of mutant. I just measured my arms (17 3/4 left, 17 1/4 right) and I found out that my left arm is still 1/2 inch bigger than the right one. What the hell is going on. I noticed this a few years ago but thought it would correct itself but I was wrong. The really weird thing is that I am right handed. I was hoping that some of you would have some suggestions.

bro its not your genes, its probably your form and technique, my left are is slightly smaller than my right and i know that its affected by technique

in my opinion, it's because your right arm probably gets overworked as it's your dominant hand.. and since your using it most of the time it doesn't get the rest and recuperation that your left does to grow... but instead gets almost "overtrained"

decem, you make a good point because my job is pretty physical & I'm sure I lift with it alot every day & I do not even realize it. Thats something to consider. Hey, how about injecting in the bicep or would that be pointless??

Macrophage69alpha can explain this mechanism to you. It has something to do with your "off hand" being more sensitive to muscular innervation which causes it to respond better and grow easier. He'll be able to explain better than I.

Dude, I have the same thing as you. My left arm measures 18 1/2 and my right measures 18 1/4, and I'm right handed. 1/4 inch is not really a big deal but I can notice it, left tricep is thicker. I'm also stronger on my left hand. I notice that when I go to open jars that are really tight I always use my left hand instead of my right.

It's weird bro, My left hand is ever so slightly bigger than my right also. Can't explain it, just don't worry about it.
